COVID-19 Town Hall Series: Mental Health for Frontline Workers

Please join the Bronx and Brooklyn Health & Housing Consortia on Thursday, June 11th from 1-2pm for a Town Hall titled, “What does it mean to be essential? Managing conflicting feelings and identities on the frontline of COVID-19”.

Panelists will include:

  • Dr. Sargam Mona Jain, MD, FAPA – Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry, Weill Cornell Medical College
  • Barbara Miliano, LCSW – Clinical Social Worker, The Brook
  • Angela Soto – Director of Community Health Promotion, NYC DOHMH

This town hall will provide frontline workers the opportunity to learn and ask questions to a psychiatrist and clinical social worker on processing grief and trauma, as well as avoiding burnout. Participants will also learn about mental health resources available for frontline workers from DOHMH.
