Home Care 2023 – Basics and Most Important Changes to Home Care and Medicaid for Community Members

Please join the Health & Housing Consortium’s virtual training titled “Home Care 2023 – Basics and Most Important Changes to Home Care and Medicaid for Community Members” on Tuesday, January 31st from 12-1:30pm. The training will be led by Sarah Chappell, Staff Attorney at LegalHealth/NYLAG.

At the end of the training, participants will be able to:
• Understand the basics of financial and medical eligibility for Medicaid-funded home care
• Review crucial changes to Medicaid as of January 2023
• Identify steps for receiving long-term care in the community in 2023
• Assess options when home care is denied or existing home care hours are not sufficient
