RHIO 101 for Housing Providers + Community Based Organizations: Leadership

The Health & Housing Consortium is offering an informational session for leadership of community-based organizations to learn more about New York City’s Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs), their benefits, how to implement them, and how to incorporate RHIO data into workflows. NYC has two RHIOs, Healthix and the Bronx RHIO, that work with hundreds of organizations to facilitate the transfer of important healthcare information including medical history, labs, tests, and medications as well as real-time notifications of hospital admissions, discharge plans, and more. On June 28th, we invite executive, legal, compliance, and IT staff for a high-level session on what the RHIOs are, what value they can bring to your organization, legal considerations, cost information, and implementation processes. We will be joined by representatives from the Bronx RHIO, Healthix, and an attorney specializing in HIPAA.
