Yoga + Meditation for Frontline Workers

April 17, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

In partnership with Sweet Water Dance & Yoga, a Bronx-based, woman of color-owned business, we invite frontline staff to take time for yourselves with this free, trauma-informed Hatha yoga and mediation session.

Frontline Workers include all employees in:

Long-term care facilities
Nursing homes
In home care
Congregate shelters
Emergency shelters

This yoga session is for bodies of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities. Hatha is the perfect way to de-stress and strengthen the mind body connection. Class will include a centering meditation, breathing practice (pranayama) and a guided deep relaxation. No equipment required.

Please feel free to invite your colleagues. This is a special event offered exclusively to staff of Bronx Consortium member organizations and something we hope to continue if there is interest!
