Subject matter experts with lived experience of homelessness teach healthcare students and practitioners about how homelessness affected their health and vice versa, and how better care can be provided. These events help reduce the gap in medical education on housing and homelessness.
Flipping the Script
Meet-and-greet events where health home care coordinators, hospital social workers, and others can connect with housing providers to learn about vacancies and facilitate referrals between systems.
